Breal is an application developed by Chen Tongwei (hereinafter referred to as "we"). We respect and protect the personal privacy of all users of our service. This privacy policy is intended to inform you about how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information. Please read the following content carefully.
Information Collection and Use
Breal is a breathing exercise application designed to help users practice breathing exercises. We do not require account registration, and we do not create or store a personal profile for you on our servers. Other than the local app settings explicitly described in this policy, we do not collect personally identifiable information.
Health Data
We do not access, read, collect, record, upload, share, or sell any Health Data from Google Fit, Health Connect, wearable devices, medical records, or system health databases.
Information We Collect
- App Settings: We store only the settings required for the app to function locally on your device, such as your last selected breathing scene, breathing mode, rhythm settings, practice duration, and other preferences. This information is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
- HEALTH Data: We do not access, read, collect, record, upload, share, or sell your HEALTH data or any other health or fitness data. We do not pull information from Google Fit, Health Connect, system health databases, wearable devices, or medical records. If you choose a breathing scene or rhythm in the app, that choice is treated only as a local preference and is not uploaded or shared as health data.
How We Use Information
- Only to restore your last used breathing scene, mode, rhythm, and practice settings on your device so the app can provide a consistent experience the next time you open it.
- We do not use these local settings for advertising, profiling, analytics, automated decision-making, or sale/sharing to third parties.
Data Storage and Security
All app settings data is stored only locally on your device. We do not upload this data to the cloud or any servers, and we do not share it with third parties. Because we do not keep a server-side copy, we cannot restore these settings once local data is deleted.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local settings remain on your device until you change them, clear the app's storage data, or uninstall the app. Because we do not store a server-side copy, the relevant local settings are permanently deleted once you clear the app's storage data or uninstall the app. To delete data, you can use Android system settings: Settings > Apps > Breal > Storage & cache > Clear storage/Clear data, or uninstall the app.
Third-Party Services
Our app does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or third-party cloud storage services to collect your personal information or HEALTH data.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for users of all age groups. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.
